Writing Center Workshops
There are several workshops ahead in the Writing Center. All workshops take place in the Writing Center Lab, inside the Writing Center [M617].
College Application Essay Workshop
Friday, November 14, 2pm to 4pm
In this workshop, students will learn tips for writing successful college application essays, brainstorm ideas for their own essays, and complete some initial writing. This workshop is especially helpful for those students working to complete their essays over the winter break. We will offer another version of this workshop in early February. In this workshop, students will learn the nuts and bolts of MLA documentation, and some of its similarities to APA documentation, by working with different types of sources.
Preparing for Essay Exams

Thursday, Dec. 11, 5:30 to 6:30pm
