Piedmont Parking Crackdown

With classes in session for just a month, PVCC’s Public Safety Department is cracking down on parking violations. I should know, I have gotten two parking warnings. Our parking lots here at PVCC are like the Hunger Games.

Parking at school is hit or a miss Between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., the parking lot is desolate. But, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. you are pretty much stuck in the Dickinson lot. You might want to leave 10 minutes earlier in the morning to save yourself the agony of being late to class.

Police Chief Shawn Harrison is implementing new safety guidelines.  If you have not noticed, new emergency phone systems have been installed in the parking lots. This should make PVCC a safer environment for students and staff.
